Burton C. Bell
Burton Christopher Bell ( born February 19, 1969 in Houston, Texas, United States) is a singer, song lyricist, guitarist and keyboard player. Bell is the frontman of the metal band Fear Factory. His vocal style is considered to be influential and innovative as far as he was one of the first major singer, the clear mixed with harsh vocals.
Biography
Bell has a fraternal twin brother, Ben, who is also a musician and lives in Huntsville. Burton C. Bell collects in his spare time Star Trek figures.
In some shots he was a guest singer or singers on the album Plastic Planet of GZR, which was published in 1995. Due to its obligations to Fear Factory, he worked on the second album of Black Science GZR no more than vocalist. 2001, he has recorded a cover version of Ministrys Burning inside with Static-X.
After the dissolution of Fear Factory in 2002, Bell " Ascension of the Watchers " founded with John Bachdel ( tour keyboardist of Fear Factory ). With " Ascension of the Watchers " Bell in 2005 published the Iconoclast EP, which was sold exclusively on the Internet. In the meantime, up to the reunification of Fear Factory, he worked as a painter and has painted homes of friends and acquaintances.
In October 2006 he announced on the Ascension of the Watchers site to " I have had to focus on Fear Factory for a while, but 2007 is all about Ascension of The Watchers. " ("I have to concentrate for a while on Fear Factory need, but in 2007 a part of my attention Ascension of The Watchers. ").
Ascension of The Watchers have signed a contract with Ministrys frontman Al Jourgensen for its 13th Planet Records label in 2007. The album " numinous " appears on 22 February 2008, and Bell shows a rather unexpected side. Besides enormous synthesizer operations he has now integrated the singer-songwriter cross-references in his solo program.
Burton Bell was one of the children in the music video Smells Like Teen Spirit of the grunge band Nirvana.
