Cabinet of Anders Fogh Rasmussen III

The Danish Government Anders Fogh Rasmussen III was on 23 November 2007 to 5 April 2009 at the office. It consisted of fairly liberal Venstre and Conservative People's Party.

2007 General Election

Following the early general election in 2007, since 2001, coalition of right-wing liberals and conservatives was continued toleration of the right-wing populist Danish People's Party. Compared with the previous Cabinet Fogh Rasmussen II, there were some personnel changes: The former Finance Minister Thor Pedersen moved to the post of President of Parliament. He was replaced by Lars Løkke Rasmussen, previously the Interior and Health Minister. Birthe Rønn Hornbech entered as an integration and a church minister to the cabinet.

Subsequent changes in

Bendt Bendtsen 's resignation as party leader and by the Office of the Minister for Economic Affairs on 10 September 2008 led to castling under the conservative ministers. Lene Espersen took over his portfolio, Brian Mikkelsen Espersen replaced as Minister of Justice and became heir by Carina Christensen as Minister of Culture. Their previous office in the Ministry of Transport took over Lars Barfoed.

As was designated Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen for the post of NATO Secretary General, he handed over power to his crown prince in the party, which formed the Lars Løkke Rasmussen government.
