Cadence Jazz Records

Cadence Jazz Records is an American jazz label.

Cadence Jazz was founded in 1980 by Bob Rusch in Redwood in New York State. Cadence Jazz Records is connected to the Cadence Magazine, the long -time editor is Rusch. By 2008, appeared on the independent label albums over 160 American, but also European musicians. The label covers most areas of the modern jazz style from up to Free Jazz and Modern Creative. To a small part of the repertoire of the artist overlaps with that of the created sub-labels in 1996 CIMP, which in addition is also dedicated to improvised music.

On Cadence Jazz musicians took like Ahmed Abdullah, Chet Baker, Marilyn Crispell, Bill Dixon, Barbara Donald, Dominic Duval, Frode Gjerstad, Beaver Harris, Fred Hess, Noah Howard, Paul Lovens, Frank Lowe, Michael Lytle, Kalaparusha Maurice McIntyre, Michael Bisio, Jemeel Moondoc, Ivo Perelman, Saheb Sarbib, Paul Smoker, Glenn Spearman and Thorgeir Stubø on.
