Calanda, Spain

Calanda is a city in the province of Teruel in the Autonomous Region of Aragón in Spain.

Calanda is known as the center of the drum processions which are held especially in Niederaragonien during Holy Week. It is on the Ruta del Tambor.

Famous people of this city are Gaspar Sanz, a Spanish guitarist of the 17th century, and Luis Buñuel ( film director ).
