Calisthenics

The Calisthenics (Greek καλός, kalos "beautiful", "good" and σθένος, sthenos " force " ) are a form of physical training, which involves a series of simple, often rhythmical movements and is used for only your own body weight. Training equipment and accessories are not needed in general.

The exercises are designed to improve strength, agility and body control of an athlete. Calisthenics can be designed for both muscle building, to increase inter-and intra -muscular coordination, as well as on the improvement of the cardiovascular system. History

Antiquity

The contents of these names does not differ from the newly created form of calisthenics, but serves as a new term for the combination of classic calisthenics with other elements.
