Cameron Lake (Ontario)
Cameron Lake is a lake in the Canadian province of Ontario.
The lake belongs to the group of lakes of Kawartha Lakes. The Cameron Lake is located on the Trent -Severn Waterway. The lock 34 east of the lake at Fenelon Falls Fenelon River at overcomes a height difference of 7.2 m to deeper Sturgeon Lake. To the west of Rosedale River and the south extending channel of the Severn -Trent Waterway Cameron Lake connects with the lock 35 at Rosedale, which overcomes the difference in height of 1.2 m to the west and higher Balsam Lake.
An important tributary is the light coming from the north Burnt River. In Cameron Lake, the Lakers are Islands ( Boyd and Rathbun Iceland Iceland ).
In Cameron Lake following fish are caught: Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye and muskellunge.
Due to the high flow rate, the Cameron Lake on no eutrophication.
