Campeonato Argentino Abierto de Polo

The Argentine Polo Open Championship ( Campeonato Argentino Abierto de spanish Polo) is the most important international polo tournament, which takes place in the Polo 's Cathedral in Palermo, a suburb of Buenos Aires since 1893.

The tournament was between 1893-1923 known as River Plate Polo Championship, and as in the two other major tournaments in Argentina ( the Campeonato Abierto de Hurlingham Hurlingham Club in the Campeonato Abierto del Tortugas and Country Club ), the handicap of the team must be between 28 and 40 lie. The event is organized by the Asociación Argentina de Polo ( Argentine Polo Association ).
