Canton of Erstein

The Canton Erstein is a further breakdown of the arrondissements Sélestat - Erstein in the department of Bas- Rhin in Alsace region of France.

History

The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 with the establishment of the departments as part of the then " district Benfeld ". Some time later (?) He belonged to the newly established " district Schlestadt ".

Geography
