Canton of Jonzac

The Canton Jonzac is a French administrative unit in the district Jonzac, in the Charente -Maritime in the Poitou -Charentes; its chief town is Jonzac.

The Canton Jonzac is 17 311 hectares ( 173.11 km ²) in size and has 10,421 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 60 inhabitants per km ² (2009). He is on average 53 meters above sea level, between 22 meters and 107 meters in Lussac in Vibrac
