Capiatá ( Guaraní Kapi'atã ) is a town in the Central Department in Paraguay with 209 012 inhabitants (2007 ).

It is situated 20 km east of the provincial capital, Asunción, and can be reached from there via the National Roads 1 and 2. Capiatá borders with seven other cities: Areguá, Itauguá, Juan Augusto Saldivar, Luque, Ñemby, San Lorenzo and Ypané.
