Carl Pettersson

Carl Pettersson ( born August 29, 1977 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays mainly on the North American PGA TOUR.

Amateur career

His father was an internationally active manager of a European automotive group, and so Carl spent his youth in England and later in the U.S., where he ultimately attended North Carolina State University. As an amateur he won four tournaments in the U.S. before he was victorious at the European Amateur Individual Championship in 2000.

Careers

In September 2000, Pettersson professional golfer and was qualified for the European Tour, which he recorded in 2001 and 2002. He won the 2002 Algarve Open de Portugal and reached this season, seven more Top 10 hits. Pettersson graduated from the end of 2002 successfully passed the Q- School for the PGA TOUR and has been for the most part in this tournament series operates.
