Carlos Álvarez-Nóvoa

Carlos Álvarez - Nóvoa Sánchez ( born 1940 in La Felguera, Asturias, Spain ) is a Spanish actor, theater director, writer and university professor.

Life

Carlos Álvarez - Nóvoa Sánchez studied law and Romance Studies, and received his doctorate him Spanish language. As early as 1957 played Álvarez - Nóvoa to Spanish theaters. He started at the Teatro Español Universitario and later played among others in Seville, Madrid and Barcelona. His theater career spans over four decades, where he also staged many plays itself. In 1999, he played Benito Zambrano's drama Vecino in Solas on the side of María Galiana and Ana Fernández. At the age of sixty years, he was honored with the award of the Spanish Goya Film Awards 2000 as Best Young Actor.

In addition to his acting career, taught Álvarez - Nóvoa also at different institutions.
