14th Goya Awards

At the 14th ceremony of the Spanish Goya Film Awards on 29 January 2000, hosted by actor Antonia San Juan, Pedro Almodóvar's All About My Mother tragicomedy won in seven of the 26 categories in which Goya was awarded. The film, which was later to be honored at the Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film, was ahead with 14 nominations liked the event. The Honorary Goya went to Antonio Isasi - Isasmendi, who was active in his ongoing since the 1940's film career as a director, screenwriter, editor and producer.
