25th Goya Awards

The Spanish Goya Film Awards were awarded in 28 categories, and as Honorary Goya 2011. The ceremony took place on 13 February 2011 at the Teatro Real in Madrid and was moderated as 2010 by Andreu Buena Fuente.

The playing shortly after the Spanish Civil War drama film Pa negre was with nine awards for a total of 13 nominations, the big winner of the evening. In addition to the major categories Best Film and Best Director, the film prevailed especially in the performer categories against the competition. Best Actor Javier Bardem, however, was excellent in the Mexican production Biutiful, which was nominated in seven other categories.

The also nominated for Best Film productions Buried - Buried Alive, And then the rain and Mad Circus - A Ballad of Love and Death, ten -, 13 - and 15 -fold nominated for the Goya, but declined in most categories of empty. The biopic The King's Speech Tom Hooper, the British could maintain Best European film against the contributions of the directors Jacques Audiard, Michael Haneke and Roman Polanski in the category.
