Cars Toon - Mater's Tall Tales (Original title: A Cars Toon: Mater 's Tall Tales ) is a computer-animated cartoon series from Disney - Pixar, which has been produced since 2008. It is located in the Cars universe. To date, three seasons were produced. The broadcast of the third began only in 2011 after the release of Cars 2 Total was aired to date, ten episodes ( Season 1: four episodes, Season 2: five episodes, Season 3 ( so far ) is a sequence ). Each episode encompasses a story about three minutes.

Lightning McQueen is one of the main characters. He hooks best friend, but does not believe in his career in every episode, although there are signs that they may be happening.

- Fillmore: Sarge's roommate, who is a hippie car.

The end of a sequence
The sequence of a story is always the same: Hook and Lightning McQueen standing together and see a particular situation, object or a vehicle in Radiator Springs. Thereupon Hook says he was followed by a relevant professional or a corresponding activity. Lightning doubts this then, after Hook begins to tell the story. The spectator sees from there no more Hook and Lightning in Radiator Springs, but run the story. At some point in history, the situation worsens then seemingly hopeless. Then we get a short back Hook and Lightning in Radiator Springs where Lightning asks: " And then what happened ," to which Hook replied: " You know that no more? But You were there! ". Now the audience again sees the story in which suddenly appears Lightning. Together they live through the story until the end. Finally, the viewer sees again Hook and Lightning in Radiator Springs, where Lightning states: " Hook, that's never happened!". Finally, finally, we see a key element of the story in Radiator Springs, thereby indicating that the story could ( at least in the core ) are true.

The stories revolve around: Hook ( in the original Mater called ) and a UFO (Original Title: Unidentified Flying Mater ), Hook as a fire truck ( original title: Rescue Squad Mater ), as Bulldozerkämpfer ( bullfighter ) El Hookador ( Original title: El Materdor ), stunt driver the Incredible Hook ( original title: Mater the Greater), drift racing in Tokyo (Original Title: Tokyo Mater ), rock star of the band Heavy Metal Hook ( original Title: Heavy Metal Mater ), Monster Truck ( original Title: Monster Truck Mater ). Previously unreleased are the consequences of the third season with Hook as a baseball player (AKA: Baseball Mater ) and Hook as a superhero ( Original title: Super Mater ).
Publication
Tokyo Mater 3 -D ran in 2008 as the first film in Disney Digital in the U.S. in the cinema as a supporting film for the Disney film Bolt - for all cases. The episode was aired once in the morning then at Pro7 in Germany. The first 4 episodes were aired on Super RTL on March 12, 2010. The consequences 5 and 6 were aired on Pro7. The complete first two seasons ( a total of seven episodes) were bundled on July 31, 2010 Super RTL aired in the evening program. The 3rd season will air after the release of the second movie of 2011.
