Carson Mansion

Carson Mansion is an architectural monument in the Historic District Old Town Eureka, California.

Carson Mansion was built in the 1880s by the timber manufacturer William Carson. Built in the Queen Anne style wooden house has three floors and an ornate tower. The finely crafted flourishes, and the tendrils are among the most remarkable in the state. Carson Mansion was until the 1940s a family-owned since heard a gentlemen's club called Ingomar. There is no public access. Carson Mansion is considered one of the most photographed Victorian building in California.

On October 15, 1991 Old Town Eureka and thereby Carson Mansion as one of 154 Contributing Properties in the National Register of Historic Places was recorded.
