Casiopea

Casiopea (Japaneseカシオペア, Kashiopea ) is a Japanese jazz fusion band that was formed in 1976 by ​​guitarist Issei Noro and bassist Tetsuo Sakurai. 1977 met keyboardist and drummer Takashi Sasaki Minoru Mukaiya to the group. The album Eyes of the Mind was published in 1981 in the United States. 1989 left Akira Jimbo and Tetsuo Sakurai to tread due to internal differences the band to their own musical paths. Later they formed the duo Jimsaku. They were replaced by Yoshihiro Naruse (bass) and Masaaki Hiyama (drums).

In 1993, the members constellation changed again: Noriaki Kumagai Masaaki replaced on drums. 1997 Akira Jimbo then came back to Casiopea.
