Castro Barros (Buenos Aires Metro)

The Castro Barros metro station is a station on line A of the Subterráneos de Buenos Aires and is part of the section Plaza Miserere Rio de Janeiro, which was opened on 1 April Fair in 1914 as an extension. The metro station is located below the Avenida Rivadavia at the junction with the two streets Avenida Avenida Castro Barros and Medrano. The street or the subway station is named after Pedro Ignacio de Castro Barros. Castro Barros took the colonial province of La Rioja in the Congress of Tucumán and was also a signatory of the Declaration of Independence. Like the other stations on the line, got these two side platforms. As a characteristic color for the station furniture, columns and trim a dark green was chosen. The walls are white / tiled dam.
