CCH Pounder
Carol Christine Hilaria Pounder ( born December 25, 1952 in Georgetown, Guyana ) is a film and television actress.
Life and work
Her film debut in the award-winning film All That Jazz ( All That Jazz ). After that, she had supporting roles in many other successful films.
Primarily Pounder has always focused on her career as a television actress. Since the early 1980s she had several guest appearances on the series Hill Street Blues and other successful series like Miami Vice, LA Law - Star lawyers, tricks, processes, X-Files - The Files and Quantum Leap. She became internationally known as Marianne Sägebrechts co-star in Out of Rosenheim. From 1994 to 1997 she was then for a longer period of guest appearances in the series Emergency Room - engaged the emergency room.
