Ceann Comhairle

The Ceann Comhairle [ cɑ ː n ko ː ɾ ʲ l ʲ ə ] ( Irish: Chairman of the Council ') is the chairman or spokesman of the Irish House of Dáil Éireann. The Ceann Comhairle is elected at the first meeting after an election from among the lower house of parliament of this.

Overview

History
