Cecil Green

Cecil Green ( born September 30, 1919 in Dallas, Texas, USA, † July 29, 1951 in Winchester, Indiana, United States) was an American race car driver.

Career

Green won 1948-1950 numerous races and titles in Midget Cars. After that, he played mainly race to AAA National Series. he achieved his best result in 1951 in Milwaukee as the second in a Kurtis Kraft - Offenhauser.

He started his career at twice the 500 miles of Indianapolis, In his first start in 1951 he reached on a 3000 Kurtis Kraft - Offenhauser with a residue from one round to the winner Johnnie Parsons fourth. 1951 back to a 3000 Kurtis Kraft - Offenhauser, he retired on lap 80 with an engine failure.
