The nature reserve Cedariver (formerly Baker Reservation ) covers an area of ​​55 acres ( 22.3 ha) along the Charles River. It is located in the town of Millis, Massachusetts in the United States and is managed by the organization The Trustees of Reservations.

History

The Baker family business at this location from 1939 to the 1970s, a small farm. Polly Baker made ​​after cessation of operation to ensure that the land was preserved. When she died in 2002 at the age of 94 years, she appropriated the land and the buildings thereon in the context of their heritage to the Trustees of Reservations, which is why the reserve originally named Baker wore reservation. Other sections were followed in 2004 by donations from the Baker family, after which the area was renamed Cedariver.
