Ceilhes-et-Rocozels

Ceilhes -et- Rocozels ( Occitan Selha e Rocosèls ) is a commune with 307 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Hérault in the Languedoc- Roussillon region. It belongs to the district Lodève and Canton Lunas.

The municipality was created in 1794 by merging Ceilhes and Rocozels

Geography

The community is located at the upper Orb on the border of the Aveyron region, about 33 kilometers south of Millau between the Causse plateau in the north, and the mountain of the Monts de l' Espinouse in the southwest. The municipality is part of the Regional Natural Park of Haut Languedoc.
