Octon, Hérault

Octon [ ok.tɔ ] ( Occitan: Auton ) is a commune in the department of Hérault in the Languedoc- Roussillon region. It has 447 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) on an area of ​​22 km ².

Geography

Octon located about 60 km from the Mediterranean Sea in the last foothills of the Massif Central in the Languedoc. The village is located in a bush land with vineyards at the reservoir Salagou.
