The Celebrity Century (until 2006: Century ) is a cruise ship and the lead ship of the Century- class of Celebrity Cruises. The Century was built in 1995 at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg ( Germany ) and during a five-week drydock period in April 2006 at the Fincantieri shipyard in Palermo ( Italy) modernized. 2015 changes to the ship company Croisières de France.

Sister ships

Other ships of the Century- class are the Mein Schiff 1 (formerly Galaxy) and the Mein Schiff 2 (formerly Mercury ). The former ship is 17 meters, the latter 16 feet longer.
