Centenario is a village in Uruguay.

Geography

It is located in the northern part of the department of Durazno in whose sector 11 you lies north of the cities Durazno and Carlos Reyles with which it is connected via the Ruta 5. In west south-westerly direction Baygorria is located. Centenario is bordered to the north by the left-hand shore of there coming from the north a bend of about 90 degrees executive westward Río Negro. On the opposite bank the city Paso de los Toros is located.

Infrastructure

Through the village leads the Ruta 5, which combines bridge crossing the Río Negro Centenario Paso de los Toros. In Centenario is found with the Escuela N ° 39 " Fructuoso Rivera " a school.

Population

Centenario had female in the census in the year 2011 1.136 inhabitants, of which 564 male and 572.
