The Center Township is one of 17 townships in Dubuque County in the eastern part of the U.S. state of Iowa.

Geography

The Center Township is located in Eastern Iowa on the western outskirts of Dubuque, which is situated at Iowa from Illinois separating Mississippi center of the region.

The Center Township is drained by the Little Maquoketa River and is located at 42 ° 30'54 " north latitude and 90 ° 50'30 " west longitude. The Township covers 93.36 km ².

The Center Township is located in the northeastern center of Dubuque County and is bordered to the north by the Jefferson Township, in the northeast on the Peru Township, on the east by the Dubuque Township and the City of Dubuque, on the south by the Vernon Township, to the southwest by the Taylor Township, on the west by the Iowa Township and to the northwest by the Concord Township.

Traffic
