Central Delaware Valley AVA

Central Delaware Valley AVA ( recognized since 19 March 1984) is an American Viticultural Area in the U.S. state of New Jersey as well as in southeastern Pennsylvania. The protected designation of origin is located north of Philadelphia near the Delaware River. In the south, the area borders the municipality of Titusville, a few miles from Trenton. In the north, the American Viticultural Area is bounded by the Musconetcong Mountain.

Due to the cool climate in certain areas of the American Viticultural Area, there is a relatively high proportion of French hybrid vines such as Chambourcin, Seyval Blanc, ....
