Central Division (NBA)
The Central Division is one of the divisions in the North American basketball league NBA. The teams in the league are divided into two Conferences ( Eastern Conference and Western Conference ), which in turn are divided into Divisions. A division comprises five teams in a conference, there are three divisions.
The division into divisions made according to the principles of local teams. In the Central Division of the teams that are primarily located in the eastern interior of the United States in the Great Lakes region play.
The NBA Central Division was established in 1970.
