The Centro Solar Group AG, headquartered in Munich, is a listed group of companies that sells photovoltaic systems for private households. The foreign share of sales volume is over 50%.

The group consists of the parent company Centro Solar Group, the 100 % owned subsidiaries Ubbink Econergy Solar GmbH, CentroSolar Glas GmbH & Co KG, Solarstocc AG, Solara AG, Solarsquare AG and Biohaus PV Handels GmbH and Ubbink Solar Modules BV, at the CentroSolar Group holds 70 percent of the shares.

History

Centro Solar Group

Founded in today's Centro Solar Group in 2005 as Centro Solar AG as a subsidiary of Centrotec Sustainable who then brought the company to the stock exchange. In the same year the company Centro solar glass, Solarstocc and Solara part of the Group were. Followed in 2006 by Solarsquare and Biohaus PV.

In 2007 the company was renamed Centro Solar Group. Since September 2007, the Centro Solar AG is a subsidiary of the holding company from the companies Solara, Biohaus PV Handels GmbH and Solarstocc.

Biohaus

Biohaus was founded in Paderborn in 1985 with the aim to serve the market for Healthy, environmentally friendly products and solar products and energy technology. Ten years was it Biohaus representative for the Spanish module manufacturer Isofotón. In 1999, a major restructuring. Centro solar glass

The activities of today's Centro solar glass dates back to 1959 when the first production of mirrors and glass finishing in Fürth started. The FLABEG designated airline in 1980 part of the Pilkington Group. In 1995, the activities started in the solar glass. In 2000, the FLABEG was spun again from Pilkington. In 2001 the company built the world's first fully automated production line for solar glass. The FLABEG Solar Glass was founded in 2002 as an independent company and acquired in 2005 by the Centro Solar and out as CentroSolar Glas GmbH & Co. KG.

CentroSolar Sonnenstromfabrik

The Solara GbR was founded in 1996 and converted into a public limited company in 1999. In January 2006, Centro Solar acquired the company and in 2008 was renamed Centro Solar Sonnenstromfabrik GmbH.

At the site of the module manufacturer Wismar produced with a capacity of 350 MWp ( 2011) and 450 employees.

Share

Main shareholder with 26.14 % was to early October 2012, the Centrotec Sustainable AG. This sold its share in the October 3, 2012 over the counter. The buyer is not yet known. Currently, around 89 % of the shares in free float, the Executive Board and Supervisory Board are holding about 11%. On 27 December 2012, the shares were included in the ÖkoDAX.
