Cérilly, Allier

Cérilly is a commune with 1338 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Allier in the Auvergne region; it belongs to the district Montlucon and is the capital of the eponymous canton Cérilly.

Geography

The community lies on the edge of the comprehensive Cérilly 10,600 ha forest area Tronçais forest, about 35 kilometers north of Montlucon and 40 kilometers west of Allier. In more than 70 km ² area community springs the Marmande, a 46 -kilometer-long right tributary of the Cher.
