Choi Gee-sung

Choi Gee-sung ( born February 2, 1951) is a South Korean manager.

Life

Choi studied economics at the Seoul National University. After his studies, Choi began to work for the company Samsung. Choi was in 2009 Successor of Lee Kun -hee in the company Samsung Electronics and in 2010 was appointed CEO. 2011/2012 he was in the public spotlight of patent disputes with fellow competitors to the Apple Tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. In June 2012, he was replaced as CEO and vice chairman of Samsung Electronics by Kwon Oh- hyun and has been Head of Corporate Strategy Office.
