Chopin - longing for love is a Polish film from 2002 The film deals with the relationship between the Polish composer Frédéric Chopin and the French writer George Sand. .

Action

Frédéric Chopin suffers in the hope of a scholarship under the despotic Grand Duke Constantine. When the Grand Duke of assassination plots against his person learns, Chopin traveled to his father's urging of the impending revolt in Paris.

While in the French capital erupts cholera, Chopin has no success with his music and has to abide by the piano in courtly salons afloat. In the same year won at the WorldFest Houston Film Competition Edward Kłosiński ( Gold Award in the category of Independent Theatrical Feature Films - Cinematography) and Jerzy Antczak ( Platinum Award in the category Best Drama ).
