Chris Cusiter

Christopher Peter Cusiter ( born June 13, 1982 in Aberdeen) is a Scottish rugby union player who is active for the Scottish national team and the Glasgow Warriors. He plays the position of scrum half.

Cusiter was 2004, his debut for Scotland in the Six Nations against Wales. His first attempt he laid in the autumn of the same year against Australia. With the Six Nations 2006, he was seriously injured, so he missed the summer tour to South Africa. He returned in November and put a further experiment, the national team, the opponent this time was Romania. However, in the subsequent match against the Pacific Islanders, he suffered an injury again, but was in time for the Six Nations 2007 fit again. Since his debut, he is competing with Mike Blair to the starting position as scrum half. For the tour of the British and Irish Lions 2005, he was Blair preferred, however, was able to prevail at the 2007 World Championships and the 2008 Six Nations against Cusiter.

Cusiters brother Calum also plays Rugby Union. Both were active along the Boroughmuir RFC and the Border Reivers. With the dissolution of this association Cusiter moved to France to USA Perpignan. After two seasons there, he returned to Scotland, the Glasgow Warriors have signed him for three years.
