Chris Dyer

Chris Dyer (born 1969 in Bendigo, Australia) is a former race engineer with overall responsibility of the Scuderia Ferrari and was responsible for the operations of the Formula 1 factory cars at the race tracks in this capacity in 2009 and 2010.

Chris Dyer began his motorsport career in his native Australia and worked in the 1990s as an engineer in the racing team of Holden. In 1997, he came into the formula and was employed by Arrows as a data engineer the car by Damon Hill. In 1998 he was a race engineer for Jos Verstappen.

2001 he joined the Scuderia Ferrari and was initially locomotive engineer on the race car of Michael Schumacher. He got to the end of 2002 on the race engineer. From the command post, he led from Schumacher to the world titles in 2003 and 2004. According to Schumacher's resignation of the Australians was held the same position for the Finn Kimi Raikkonen. 2009 Dyer was appointed chief race engineer and re- occupied his position on the side of Raikkonen with Andrea Stella.

In December 2010 the Scuderia Dyers announced release. His successor in this function was Pat Fry

As of the 2013 DTM season, he worked as chief engineer for BMW.
