Chris Harris (Wrestler)
Chris Harris ( born December 25, 1973 in Cincinnati, Ohio ) is an American professional wrestler. It occurred mainly for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and was known as part of the successful day for Team America's Most Wanted. In 1999, he married his long-time friend Susan.
Career
Chris Harris was interested in as a child for the wrestling, but opted only in college, pursue such a career. It was used by Roger Ruffen, an employee of the Northern Wrestling Federation, trained and debuted in November 1994. For five years, his assignments were limited to smaller independent leagues in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. With the known promoter Bert Prentice Harris finally came to World Championship Wrestling.
World Championship Wrestling
While he worked for Prentice, Harris denied early 2000 his first match in WCW Booker T. It was only in October of that year he signed a firm contract development. His greatest appearance in WCW was a doppelganger of Sting at Halloween Havoc 2000; otherwise Harris did not come beyond the B- shows the league. Before he could possibly make the breakthrough, the WCW in 2001 was purchased by the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) and adjusted the operation.
Total Nonstop Action Wrestling
Early 2002, Harris began to work for Bert Prentice, was, however, in financial straits. At an event organized by Prentice show in Nashville he went up against James Storm and impressed with his performance the Talent scouts recently founded Total promotion NWA: TNA (now TNA or TNA ). Both wrestlers were initially equipped with short contracts, but rapidly developed into an important part of the league.
The first Pay -Per-View of the NWA: TNA on 19 June 2002 Harris appeared at the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in the Gauntlet for the Gold. A week later he made the first time with James Storm a tag team, which was named after a proposal Storms "America's Most Wanted " (AMW ). On September 18 AMW won for the first time NWA World Tag Team Championship by defeating AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn.
During an injury-related break his partner Chris Harris received a match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Jeff Jarrett, which he lost in March 2004. In April he earned by defeating Raven another chance, but was set before the match Raven knocked out and replaced by the eventual winner and new champion AJ Styles. On June 2, Harris participated in a " King of the Mountain " ladder match for the title part and had to (as well as Raven, Ron Killings and the reigning champion Styles) Jeff Jarrett defeated. In the aftermath Harris stepped back mainly with AMW on, but the end of August James Storm was injured again. The last weekly PPV doctorate on 8 September 2004 Harris teamed with Elix Skipper against the Tag Team Champions Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas and secured the title for the fifth time. Ironically, James Storm took them with his partner Christopher Daniels the belt after two weeks again.
On 14 December 2006 AMW met the reigning Tag Team Champions Latin American Exchange ( Homicide and Hernandez ) in a title vs.. Team Match. James Storm decided the battle by attacking Harris with a beer bottle and thus was responsible for the defeat and the separation of AMW.
NWA Cyberspace
Chris Harris wrestle regularly for the Independent promotion NWA Shockwave (formerly NWA Cyberspace ). On November 19, 2006, he held briefly the NWA Shockwave Heavyweight Championship, after the Champion Jeff Jarrett had voluntarily pinning him. Commissioner Jasmin St. Claire decided immediately after the match that both counterparties in a three-way match against Chris Parks must start ( " Abyss "). Abyss won the fight and thus ended Harris ' reign on the same evening.
World Wrestling Entertainment
After Harris ' contract with TNA expired, he signed a contract in late January 2008 World Wrestling Entertainment. In March, he played a dark match and then coached at Florida Championship Wrestling, a developmental league of the WWE. In the ECW broadcast on 8 July 2008 Harris made his debut under the name Braden Walker and was therefore provisionally listed on the ECW roster. On August 7, however, Harris was dismissed again.

Currently, Harris operates under the name " Wildcat " Chris Harris at the Northern Wrestling Federation.
