Chris Isaak

Christopher Joseph Isaak ( born June 26, 1956 in Stockton, California) is an American singer and film actor.

In 1981, Chris Isaak with James Calvin Wilsey (guitar), Kenney Dale Johnson ( drums), and Rowland Salley ( bass), the band Silvertone. In 1985, he released his first solo album, Silvertone, out. He made his debut in Germany on October 28, 1985 at Uncle Pö in Hamburg.

Its most well known title is the resulting 1989 love song Wicked Game, but the first remained unnoticed after its publication. Only through the use of the instrumental version in a key scene of David Lynch's film Wild at Heart 1991 Top 10 rankings, won the title in popularity and achieved the end of 1990 or beginning of, inter alia, in the British, American and German charts. To this success was also contributed to the black and white clip with the Danish model Helena Christensen.

With the re-released song Blue Hotel ( this was originally from the year 1986) had Isaac in the spring of 1991, yet another Top 20 hit.

The singer also appeared as an actor in appearance, among other things, in movies like Little Buddha, Silence of the Lambs and Married to the Mob. In the United States, he was seen from 2001 to March 2004 in his own television series "The Chris Isaak Show ". The series showed the fictional everyday life of the rock musician.

His latest television project is the show "The Chris Isaak Hour", which is also the German " The Biography Channel " radiates and greeted on Isaac as hosts in each episode a new music star (about Yusuf Islam or the Smashing Pumpkins ) to live with him to make music in the studio and to talk.
