Chris Lindberg

Christopher Lawrence Lindberg (also Christopher Lloyd Lindberg, born April 16, 1967 in Fort Frances, Ontario ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who during his career for the Calgary Flames Quebec Nordiques and the National Hockey League as well as the Krefeld EV in the German Ice Hockey League played.

Career

Lindberg began his career in 1987/88 to the team of University of Minnesota Duluth in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. As early as the 1989/90 season he had his first jobs at the Binghamton Whalers of the American Hockey League. 1991 made ​​the jump to the National Hockey League and played 17 games for the Calgary Flames. In the same year he was appointed to the Canadian national hockey team, with whom he won a silver medal at the 1992 Winter Olympic Games.

In 1994 he moved to Krefeld EV in the German Hockey League. 1996/97 he was top scorer in the DEL. In 1998 he left Krefeld and went on a short stopover in the United States to Switzerland. 1999/2000 he had again nine missions in the jersey of the national team. His last season 2003/ 04 he spent in Austria, the EC VSV.
