History

The beginnings

The skate club Rapperswil (SCR ) was founded on 17 January 1945. A year later, on 6 January 1946 you graduated away against St. Gallen his first official game ( 4:7 ). The home games were played on the frozen lake Zurich in the Garnhänke. Players initially presented the Board and prepared the ice field in a long night working on. The 1960s

The 1970s

The 1980s

After years of trepidation, the club in the National League B could consolidate slowly but surely sporty. Still playing the skate club Rapperswil- Jona but under the open sky. The 1990s

Venue

The Diners Club Arena is the home stadium of Rapperswil- Jona Lakers in Rapperswil -Jona. The former stadium, " Lido " was completely rebuilt and renamed " Diners Club Arena " in 2006.
