Christian Everhard, Prince of East Frisia

Prince Christian Eberhard von Ostfriesland ( born October 1, 1665 in Esen, † June 30, 1708 in Aurich ) from the house of Cirksenas had since birth Prince of East Frisia, but remained until 1690 under the tutelage of his mother Christine Charlotte.

Life

Christian Eberhard was born after the death of his father, Prince Georg Christian. He grew up on the farm at first in Aurich. At the age of ten years, his mother sent him to be educated abroad. After living in the Netherlands, Piedmont and France, he was after 1681 in Italy and Austria. In these travels he climbed Mount Vesuvius, visited Rome in the Queen Christina of Sweden and met in Paris on the Sun King Louis XIV

The three children of Prince Christian Eberhard von Ostfriesland of the morganatic marriage with Juliane Kleinau bore the name of sand Horst, including:
