Christopher J. Coyne

Christopher James Coyne ( born June 17, 1958 in Woburn, Massachusetts, United States) is auxiliary bishop in Indianapolis.

Life

Christopher Coyne received on 7 June 1986 the archbishop of Boston, Bernard Francis Cardinal Law, the sacrament of ordination to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Boston.

On 14 June 2011 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him. Titular Bishop of Mopta and auxiliary bishop in Indianapolis. The Archbishop of Indianapolis, Daniel Mark the booklet OSB, gave him on 2 March of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Cleveland, Richard Gerard Lennon, and the Bishop of Cheyenne, Dennis Paul Etienne. On September 21, 2011, he was named Benedict XVI. to the inauguration of the new Archbishop of Indianapolis on December 3, 2012 as the Apostolic Administrator of this Archdiocese.
