The Chubu Airport (Japanese中部 国际 空港, Chubu Kokusai Kuko ), often only Centrair (セントレア, Sentorea ) called, is an airport located on an artificial island in Ise Bay, Tokoname before the city on the peninsula Chita, Aichi Prefecture, in Japan. It is located 33 kilometers south of the city of Nagoya and is the main airport in the Chūbu region. The Chubu airport is considered by the Japanese legislation as first class airport.

It was opened on 17 February 2005 and has the IATA airport code NGO and the ICAO airport code RJGG. To this day, the Nagoya airport was the most important airport in central Japan.

Lufthansa flies the Airport of Frankfurt / Main from once daily with an Airbus A340 -300.
