Church of Mary Magdalene

The Mary Magdalene is a Russian Orthodox Church on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. It was built in 1886 by Tsar Alexander III. in traditional Russian style with seven gilded onion domes.

Before Ikonastasia are the final resting places of the venerated by the Russian Orthodox Church as a holy martyr Elizabeth of Hesse -Darmstadt and her niece Alice of Battenberg.
