Churchill Brothers SC
Churchill Brothers SC is a football club based in Salcette, India. Currently the club plays in the top league in the country, the I-League Division 1. Play their home games, the club from the Fatorda Stadium.
History
The club was founded in 1988. Since the introduction of a unified national league in 1996, the club was always in the first league. At the end of the 2004/05 season, it was relegated to the second league yet, surprisingly. The direct revival was followed by a fourth place finish for the season 2005/ 06 and a year later the vice-champion title. This was a total already the 4th time in 11 years that one only came in second. 2008/ 09 the club was finally able to turn the tide and is rated 3 points ahead of champions against Mohun Bagan. They also won the 2009 Durand Cup and IFA Shield to. 2010/11 they were only fourth in the league won the IFA Shield.
