Citroën C5

The C5 is a car model of the middle class of the French automaker Citroën, which has been produced since the spring of 2001.

The C5 came in March 2001, initially as a five-door hatchback and in June 2001 as a combined Break into the market.

As engine variants were 1.8 - and 2.0 -liter inline four- cylinders of the series EW with 85 kW ( 115 hp ) or 100 kW (136 hp) and a 3.0 -liter V6 with 152 kW ES (207 PS ) are available. The at the IAA presented in Frankfurt in September 2007 C5 Airscape study provided an outlook for the next generation of the C5 series. The study was designed as a convertible and not incorporated into the series.

Facelifts

2010

In October 2010, the C5 has been slightly revised.

Both sedan and station wagon were headlights with LED daytime running lights instead of incandescent bulbs previously used, and the previously bright red colored reversing spotlights the rear lights in LED design were clear covers. Furthermore, a new base petrol engine with 1.6 liter displacement and an output of 88 kW and two new diesel variants were introduced 1.6 liter HDi and 82 kW and a 2.2 liter HDi 150 kW.

2012

In summer 2012, the double angle were adjusted on the vehicle front and at the rear with rounder shapes to the current Citroen logo.

The navigation systems offered so far for the vehicle MyWay and NaviDrive3D were replaced by the system eMyWay as the only option.
