The administrative headquarters of the council is located in the Woodville area.

Management

The Burnside City Council has 17 members. 16 Councillor elected by the residents of the eight Wards ( two each from Semaphore Park, Grange, Henley, Woodville, Woodville West, Findon, Hindmarsh and Beverley Ward). These eight districts are set independently of the districts. The Council President and Mayor ( Mayor ) is also elected by all residents of the City.
