Claude Gensac
Claude Gensac (* March 1, 1927 in Acy -en- Multien, France as Jeanne Claude Malca Gensac ) is a French actress.
Life
From 1952 to 2003 she has starred in more than 40 films. She gained international recognition for her roles in movies with Louis de Funès in which she has played mostly his wife, but also other roles. With her tall figure and its elegant restraint they formed the counterpart to the squat, choleric de Funès. In the St. Tropez comedies with de Funès Gensac was voiced by the German voice actress Tilly Lauenstein.
In 2001, she played the role of the mother in the movie version of Absolutely Fabulous.
