Claudio Capponi
Claudio Capponi ( born May 20, 1959 in Rome, Italy ) is an Italian composer, arranger, music producer and violist.
Life
Claudio Capponi studied piano, viola and composition at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. He then worked as a first soloist, the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma and the Teatro San Carlo, where he worked with conductors such as Leonard Bernstein, Claudio Abbado, Lorin Maazel, Riccardo Muti, Carlo Maria Giulini and Giuseppe Sinopoli worked. Outside of classical music, he worked with pop and rock singers such as Angelo Branduardi, Riccardo Cocciante, Richie Havens and Stephen Stills. As a film composer he wrote among other things the music for Jane Eyre, My House in Umbria and The Fever.
