Cliff Martinez
Cliff Martinez ( born February 5, 1954 in the Bronx, New York) is an American composer of film music.
He also worked as a studio drummer. So he was on after he had tumbled among others, Lydia Lunch, the Dickies, the Weirdos, Roid Rogers and Captain Beefheart, 1984-1985 of the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer. Martinez made in particular as the preferred for its films by Steven Soderbergh composer. The atmosphere of films like Traffic - power of the cartel or Solaris bears his signature substantially. In addition to electronically embossed surface sounds have his plays often percussive style elements.
