One Hot Minute is a radio - rock album of Red Hot Chili Peppers.
This album was recorded with new guitarist Dave Navarro, who was previously member of the band Jane 's Addiction. Through his hard guitar sound, the sound changed considerably, including why did this album for many fans not so good. Nevertheless, the album contains some quiet pieces, such as the single release My Friends, which found much approval as a ballad and was twice at # 1 on the Billboard charts. In contrast, the violent Warped is probably one of the hardest songs ever published the peppers. This song was the first single.
The radio, the music of the Peppers contained until then, was proportionally reduced. Nevertheless, he remained an important element, as you can hear at Walkabout and perhaps also with Aeroplane. In the latter, a children's choir is heard, which was made up of classmates from Fleas first daughter Clara Balzary. In the video, they are also seen. In addition to this children's choir there were a number of other musical guests, including Navarro's former bandmate Stephen Perkins as a percussionist, and Navarro's little brother with his deposit (baby cries ) in One Big Mob.
By the stylistic differences with the other Chili Peppers albums, the songs seem unfamiliar to many fans.
The pieces of this plate had never been played live again after leaving Navarro as a guitarist, with the exception of Pea, in which only the bass playing and the singing of Flea can be heard. Navarro's successor and predecessor John Frusciante says he do not play Navarro song.
